In recent years, Qingdao has clearly positioned itself as a leading modern ocean city, guided by the principles of ecological civilization, technological innovation, and public participation.

近年来，青岛明确提出建设引领型现代海洋城市的发展目标，以生态文明为引领，以科技创新为支撑，以全民参与为基础，系统推进海洋事业高质量发展。

Within this broader vision, marine governance is no longer understood as the responsibility of institutions alone, but as a shared social undertaking involving government, industry, academia, and the public—especially the younger generation.

Nancy (Wang Yishuo), a student from Class 7, Grade 2024 of Qingdao Experimental Junior High School, serves as the National Chief Youth Representative of Marine Guardians Public Welfare. Nancy’s Marine Public Welfare Journey: Persistence from an Early Age

Nancy's journey in marine conservation began in 2021, when she, together with her sister Amily (Wang Yinuo, Qingdao Ningxia Road No.2 Primary School), participated in beach cleaning campaigns along the coast of Qingdao initiated by OCEANWE.王艺蒴（Nancy）的海洋公益之路缘起 2021 年，她与姐姐王艺诺（Amily，青岛宁夏路第二小学）一同参与由 OCEANWE 发起的青岛沿海净滩行动。

Over more than 1,600 days, under the guidance of OCEANWE, Nancy has continuously taken part in:

Beach cleanups across multiple coastal sites

Marine waste classification and data recording

Marine ecology research-based learning

Public speaking and art-based advocacy

在超过 1600 天的时间里，王艺蒴在海洋卫士的引领下持续参与多地净滩行动、海洋垃圾分类与数据记录、海洋生态研究性学习，以及以演讲和艺术为形式的公益传播。

She has also been selected as the spokesperson for the 99 Public Welfare “Protect the Blue Ocean Home” campaign, with related offline advertisements displayed at the Qingdao Metro Great Hall of the People Station.她还当选99 公益守护蔚蓝海洋家园代言人，相关线下公益广告投放于青岛地铁人民大会堂站。

荣誉与社会职务Nancy has earned numerous honors, including the Two-Star Individual of the Red Scarf Medal, Outstanding Student Leader of Shinan District, Qingdao, and Outstanding Young Pioneer of Shinan District, Qingdao.
